Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Parselex websites and applications (parselex.app (main domain), docs.parselex.app (this website), lexregister.parselex.app (account registration), dashboard.parselex.app and mcp-dashboard.parselex.app (applications)) and the legal document intelligence services offered through them. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. The service
Parselex ingests documents and messages from sources you connect (for example Telegram, Email, Google Drive, phone records, WhatsApp archives, uploads, API/webhook integrations, court feeds, SFTP or CRM exports) and processes them through an automated pipeline (ingestion, OCR, classification, validation, retrieval-augmented analysis, AI translation and report generation). The service is assistive: outputs are informational and are not legal advice — see our AI Disclaimer.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to register. Registration is handled at lexregister.parselex.app. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@parselex.app if you suspect unauthorised use.
3. Your documents and lawful use
- You retain all rights to the documents and data you submit (“Your Content”).
- You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process Your Content solely to provide the service (including sending it to our AI and OCR processors as described in the Privacy Policy).
- You confirm you have the legal right to submit Your Content and, where it contains personal data of other individuals, a lawful basis for doing so.
- You must not use the service for unlawful purposes, to infringe third-party rights, or to submit content you are not permitted to process.
4. AI outputs and reliance
Outputs are generated by automated systems and may contain errors or omissions, despite our validation stages. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them, and for any decisions, filings or actions taken on their basis. Corpus isolation, model usage and retention are described in the Personal Data Use Notice.
5. Paid plans and billing
If you purchase a paid plan, billing renews automatically until cancelled as described on the Recurring Payments page. Prices and billing periods are shown at checkout before you confirm.
6. Service availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may add, change or remove features; material adverse changes to a paid plan will be communicated in advance as described in the payments terms. We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the updated version on this page with a new date; continued use after posting constitutes acceptance.
7. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, create security or legal risk, or remain unpaid after the grace period described in the payments terms. On termination you may request export or deletion of your corpus via contact@parselex.app, subject to legal retention obligations.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind except as required by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Parselex is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of profits or data, arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence are not affected.
9. Operator, governing law and disputes
Parselex is currently operated by its founder as an unincorporated project. The operator’s legal name and address, and company registration details once the project is incorporated, will be provided upon request at contact@parselex.app — for example for invoicing, dispute handling or consumer-protection purposes. These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the Parselex operator is established. Where mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence grant you protections, those protections prevail. If you have a dispute, please contact contact@parselex.app first — we aim to resolve issues informally and quickly.
