Cookies & Local Storage
Last updated: October 7, 2026
This notice describes the cookies and browser storage used across the Parselex websites (parselex.app (main domain), docs.parselex.app (this website), lexregister.parselex.app (account registration), dashboard.parselex.app and mcp-dashboard.parselex.app (applications)) and how you can control them.
1. Strictly necessary cookies (application subdomains)
When you sign in at lexregister.parselex.app, dashboard.parselex.app or mcp-dashboard.parselex.app, those applications set session and authentication cookies (including login-session and CSRF-protection cookies). These are strictly necessary — without them you cannot stay signed in, and they cannot be disabled while using the applications. They are removed when you sign out or when the session expires.
2. Local storage on this website
The public landing page and docs site store two purely functional values in your browser’s local storage:
theme— your light/dark appearance preference;plexLocalePref— your chosen language, so we stop re-asking.
These are not cookies, are never transmitted to us except when you actively change the preference, and can be cleared at any time from your browser settings.
3. Analytics and advertising
We use none. This website carries no third-party analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
4. Health check
The navigation status indicator performs a periodic request to the platform health endpoint to display online/offline status. It sets no cookies and identifies nobody.
5. Managing storage
You can clear cookies and site data per site in your browser settings. Clearing strictly-necessary cookies signs you out of the applications; clearing local storage resets your theme and language preferences only.
